A holiday poem

As I sign off and prepare for my trip
I thought it wise to offer this tip:
During this season of merry and cheer
Please do be cautious in your consumption of beer…
There are many hazards in winter, for sure,
Yet driving while drinking would be too much to bear.
So while I’m away, in Florence and Rome
I wish all of you safe, happy holidays at home.
