The end is near...

Tonight is our last night in Italy, for tomorrow we fly home. It's been a great time, and although many of the sites we wanted to see were not open due to the holidays and all, I feel like we've gotten a fair taste, and it leaves me wanting more. Although we have promised to make Germany our next vacation outside of the US, another trip to Italy is definitely in the cards. There's much more to see here, in Rome, Florence and even Turin again, as well as the rest of the country, as we did not have time for Venice or the Cinque Terre. (I'm almost sure I spelled that wrong, but oh well.)

After this is completed, we plan to go have a nice dinner, and then go back to the hotel to pack our bags and get some rest before we have to cath the 5:15 am shuttle to the airport. Tonight, I'll either have a final dish of Pasta, and some stew, or possibly pizza one more time. Wendy is putting up some photos over at Wendy's World from out tour of the Vatican City (Museum and the Bassilica of Saint Peter). I'll be setting them up as more slideshows, and will put up links to those after I get somewhere that I can get connected and use my FTP software. :)
