Just a little update...

I realized that the content was starting to get a little stale, so I thought I would take a moment to provide a bit of an update...

Since that freezing day in the cold, not much has really happened, so there's not a whole lot to ad at this point. The main thing is that I finally got my car into the shop, and it's almost done.

Oh, and I spent another Saturday sitting on a corner at Pacific Raceways watching others go 'round and wear out their cars, instead of me wearing out my own like I would have liked. *sigh.*

So, on to the repairs...
In the end, they are much more expensive and troublesome than I would have hoped. Not being able to take the car apart first, then order parts to replace what you have is much more difficult when you haven't done the modifications, nor been provided with details of what is required for alternative replacements on modified components. So, I have a spare set of shocks should someone need them. Suitable as stock replacements for BMW 3 series from 1984 through 1991, and 1992 3 series convertable, also known affectionately as an E30.
