The Wonderful World of Wendy

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - what a ride!!

Women In Art

One of my favorite classes in college was completely unrelated to my business major - art history. I had always avoided art and art appreciation in part because I was color-blind and didn't see it the way normal people did. I also thought it was fluff, a waste of my intellectual time. Art history was totally, amazing, tho - I took 3 telecourses when at Bellevue Community College in the early 90s. I was amazed by how much history you could learn by studying a culture's art. Maybe what I really loved about it, then, was how efficient it was. I could learn both ART and HISTORY at the same time. What a lot of bang for your buck!

Thank you to my sister-in-law, Kimry Jelen, an artist in Bend, OR, for sending me this YouTube video. Please enjoy!
