Electric currents may be saving coral reefs in Bali

Here is an interesting take on saving our world's coral reefs - albeit somewhat controversial.

If you know me well, you'll remember that after first wanting to be an astronaut (until the Challenger exploded in 1986) I then wanted to be an oceanographer - that is until I discovered my fear of the water was debilitating and I would never be able to dive. I wrote my senior English thesis paper on global warming and its effects on the coral reef's in Australia - ending with a dire prediction of where our world was headed if we didn't change our ways ASAP. This was in 1988.
